Dragon Magazine, the long-time resource for D&D players, folded last September after an amazing 359-issue run. Dungeon Adventures ceased publication at the same time, Pyramid has been all electronic for awhile, and White Wolf Magazine and Inphobia are distant memories. I realize that launching this magazine as Dragon Magazine’s print era ends is — how to put it? It’s a bit of a kick to the nuts to go from a 100% color, lavishly-illustrated, fine-tuned machine to a one-man show with a lot of black and white art and a do-it-yourself ethos.
