Special Abilities
Arcane Sight (Sp): An eyeless horror sees magical auras despite lack of eyes. An eyeless horror can target creatures and objects that are affected by any magic effect or carry magic items as if it was seeing the target itself.

Terror Mark (Sp): Any creature struck by one of the eyeless horror’s tentacle attacks has to make a Will saving throw (DC 15) or is inscribed with an unseen arcane mark composed of incomprehensible alien glyphs. Each eyeless horror has its own individual terror mark and can see and recognize any terror marks with its arcane sight. Bearer of a terror mark suffers -2 penalty to all saving throws against spell-like abilities of the eyeless horror which placed the mark. Terror mark is an equivalent of a 1st-level spell and unlike regular arcane mark, it can be dispelled.

Mindsense (Su): An eyeless horror can detect presence of nonmindless creatures within range of its telepathy. This works like a blindsense but is fooled by any effect that blocks or misleads divination effects.

ARG – spell from an Advanced Race Guide

The eyeless horrors were spawned when a vicious mages’ war turned into an arcane cataclysm. Destructive sorceries unleashed by the warring cabals ripped the dimensional boundaries on the field of the battle, bringing unfathomable devastation and letting in things from beyond… Mages who brought the destruction and witnessed the following breach saw the incoming entities and glimpsed the realm they came from. What they saw twisted their bodies and burned their minds and souls. At that moment something—perhaps some lesser entities from the alien world—slithered through the breach and fused with the shattered remains forming horrific hybrids.

When the extradimensional flames died down, the newly born eyeless horrors left their war-ravaged homeland seeking to spread chaos and pierce the boundaries between this world and the alien worlds beyond to invite even greater monstrosities.

Individual eyeless horrors seem to have different goals in mind. While many prefer to simply spread chaos and destruction directly, some weave intricate plots trying to spark more wars, and a few conduct unspeakable experiments trying to spawn more of their kind from captured arcanists.

An average eyeless horror weighs 130 pounds and is 7 feet tall when its tentacles aren’t extended to their full length.
