d12. Curiosity

  1. Bees are magical creatures.
  2. The trees speak behind your back, but you choose what they say of you.
  3. You may choose which wolf to feed. Choose wisely.
  4. Unless you are mindful, you will close your ears to those who seek to share deep truths.
  5. You have gained the attention of a powerful individual who will make your belly rumble.
  6. Seeking your fortune in this manner is a foolhardy thing indeed, but since you have done so: Your next step will not land where you expect.
  7. Balance is all. For every act you do, you must ask a price or you will tip the balance in unfortunate ways.
  8. The next life you save will be the one that ends yours.
  9. You believe you have chosen your path. You have not. I have.
  10. Perhaps it is time to die.
  11. Many wish to hear of dark strangers and love. Instead, you must know this: Your capacity to trust in romance will be your undoing.
  12. Nothing is either good or bad. It just is. When you truly acknowledge this, you will be free. Therefore, do not curse the next trap that snags you.
