Kobold Press, a leading publisher of tabletop roleplaying games, is proud to announce the highly anticipated release of the Black Flag Reference Document (BFRD). Developed since January 2023, the BFRD is an update to the 5th Edition SRD and is published under the Open Resource Community (ORC) license.
The BFRD is a completely free, open, and 5E-compatible RPG designed to provide gamers with a comprehensive reference document that includes everything they need to create characters, write adventures, and publish their own content.

This document comes from countless hours of testing and the support of hundreds of play testers and thousands of Kickstarter backers, who raised over $1 million.
The BFRD is a first look at what is to come in the Tales of the Valiant RPG, a new, exciting addition to the 5th Edition RPG universe. This game will be released digitally on May 10, 2024, as part of the first annual KoboldCon online convention, which will deliver live streams and organized play of the new system.

Haven’t read complete the BFRD, but just a quick quiestion, druid doesn’t indicate a duration, or details the rules of “assuming the form”, is this on purpose? I’m still assuming that might find similar details with further reading.
It’s not even that it doesn’t include a duration, it like, doesn’t include almost anything as to how it even works. Like, does it work like Polymorph? Do you literally become the beast, making death saves and whatnot if reduced to 0 hit points? Do you keep your class or race features? What happens to your gear? Nothing is specified!?
Looks very cool, but I notice that both the BFSRD and the ToV Player’s Guide Kickstarter Reward version don’t mention warlocks for multiclassing, but they’re half-casters now (kind of). So do we handle them like rangers and paladins for purposes of calculating spellcasting level? I assume we have to do something since Warlock mentions you can use spell slots of an appropriate level to cast your Mystic Arcanum spell(s) again.
