Creatures with the pernicious template live anywhere evil fey are found. Pernicious creatures acquire the physical characteristics (such as green feathers, fur, or scales, and red spots), locomotion, and feeding habits of the pernicious platypus. A pernicious creature’s CR increases by +1 only if the base creature has 5 or more HD. Â
Rebuild Rules: Senses gains electrolocation 30 ft; Defensive Abilities gains DR as noted on the table; Climb 20 ft., Swim 30 ft.; Special Attacks Paralytic Venom (Ex) Claw—injury; save Fort DC 10 + 1/2 total Hit Dice + Constitution modifier; frequency 1/round for 6 rounds; effect 1d2 Dex; cure 1 save.
