A Gen Con Wrap-up, A New Reader Welcome

Albino Dire Weasel! As we slowly return to normal after another wonderfully successful Gen Con, we would like to take this opportunity to say, “Welcome!” Meeting so many fans at several recent conventions, we realized that for all of you that have long been following us, many of you are just discovering

So, for all of you that have been here forever, well, here’s a toast to you! (Make sure to read to the end for Gen Con fun!)

For those of you recently tuned in, watch the third step—it’s a little loose. Welcome aboard; please, watch your fingers. On the left-most column, at the bottom, you’ll find a spot to sign up for our newsletter, Kobold Courier (an almost-regular recap of all things Kobold Quarterly and Open Design along with sneak peaks and specials)—or send a note to subscriptions(at)koboldquarterly(dot)com asking to be added to the list. You might also be interested to know that we are on Twitter and Facebook. And of course, there’s also the RSS feed and the forums. Lots of ways to enjoy and even participate. And here’s a toast to you!

Now, remembering where we started all this, let’s bring it right back to Gen Con with some wonderful photos of all the festivities on the kobolds’ very own flickr photostream.

  1. … And don’t forget to check out the great Open Design projects too, such as “Frozen Empires: Glories of the North.”

Hello to any and all new kobold slaves – pardon me, I mean “aficionados” – its great here, you’ll barely feel the whips of the overseers. See you on the forums!

PS – So tell us, Scott: Is that a picture of you up there or one of our new fans?

  2. That is a picture of the Albino Dire Weasel from the booth, a deadly and amusing creature that emerged from the depths of Underboxen to feed on unsuspecting booth visitors.

    Or on bananas, sometimes.
