A very pleasant surprise. And Midgard Tales made the Honorable Mention list, which ain’t shabby either.
A few of the things on the list really surprised me, Congratulations again.
Well, I like lists that are not totally predictable, and that call attention to something that might otherwise have slipped past me.
Of course, EZG has some preferences and some general dislikes, but he’s upfront about that (which I like in a reviewer!). It makes it a nicely personal list, based in a really solid understanding of what works and why.He’s sort of the closest we get to formal critique. Even his negative reviews tend to be illuminating.
