Important Mire Fiend Facts

These monstrosities resemble translucent praying mantises with segmented tails topped by poisonous stingers.

Mire fiends were once normal insects that became mutated by exposure to magical run-off that drained into their swamp.

Over time, the creatures grew in size and intelligence until they formed primitive societies in the bogs, mires, and swamplands.

As a last defense, mire fiends can vomit out their internal organs to drench their foes in caustic bile.
