In addition to my continuing role as Assistant Editor on Kobold Quarterly, I’ve taken over as the Mighty Web Editor for KQ.com. With more than a week of trial-by-fire complete, I can finally take a breath to fill you all in.
Hopefully, you’ve enjoyed our recent web-support of Kobold Quarterly #11 and the Halloween craziness of Monster Mayhem. Because I know you can handle even more, Imperial Gazetteer and Iron Gazetteer have just been released as sister pieces to the wonderful Zobeck Gazetteer and Dwarves of the Ironcrags. Don’t blink, because there’s more just around the corner, including some reports from the designers on the 3 ongoing patron projects: The Red Eye of Azathoth, Courts of the Shadow Fey, and From the Shore to the Sea & Sunken Empires… That’s right, I’m riding herd on these buckaroos, and they better fear my atomic wrath if they don’t help me keep you, dear reader, fully informed!
So here’s my plan:
As the new Web Editor, I’m now the “go-to guy” for web submissions. This is going to be a lot of fun, but we’re moving fast — Keep your hands inside the boat at all times! — and I’ve got some big goals. And that’s where you come in.
Do you have monsters ready for the Monday Monster arena? Have you designed traps to lie in wait for unsuspecting Tuesday readers? If you have anything that you think other Kobold Quarterly and Open Design fans would enjoy, send it to me! (But check out the submission guidelines first.) I’m going to get a new piece up everyday, Monday to Friday, so help me out. Let me hear from you! Yes, I’m even taking requests.
Unleash the atomic fire! Is there something you’d be especially interested in seeing on KQ.com? Let us know!
OK,
Prepare to dodge Mr. Web Editor. :-)
I assume you have access to the trap pile.
He does indeed have access to the trap pile! And he knows a volley of new material is headed his way.
I can’t think of anyone better to try and herd kobolds than you, Scott. Congrats.
Oh, look, a rat. Look, gotta go. Here, little rat. Let’s play ‘stick.” The pointy end goes in you first.
Aw … he got away …
Congrats and well deserved Scott!
Way to go, Scott!
Woo-hoo! Congrats mate!
cool, I’ll have to go threw some of the stuff Ive writen and see what else I want to submit.
