Description

A Lost Bearfolk in a Forest of Dangers

Two years ago, Count Warin reopened the royal hunting lodge in the village of Domek. Instead of hunting big game, Warin now hunts hapless peasants and the fey inhabitants of the nearby Tomierran Forest. While the local population has been decimated, a local fey personality named the Elderberry Dame has martialed the survivors to fight back again Warin’s trespasses.

Meanwhile, an early frost has imperiled Krakovar’s coming harvest. With her own food supply imperiled, Princess Hristina now offers a premium for merchants who will bring grain and other foodstuffs to southern Krakovar.
Last year, Teppen Berlatillat came to Dornig to serve as Björnrike’s ambassador in Bad Solitz. Teppen brought his partner, Kendhal, and three cubs to this posting.

Since their arrival, the family has been beset by troubles. Wandering into a vineyard, the youngest cub was captured by derro (see Warlock Lair 42: The Wandering Whelp). Later, the middle cub was abducted by shadow goblins and taken to the Shadow Realm (see Warlock Lair 51: Casting the Longest Shadow).

*** This adventure for the 5th Edition of the world’s first RPG is meant for four 6th-level characters. It includes full details for three all-new monsters, the hungry thug, the huntsman, and the vampire hound. Designed by Benjamin Eastman, it features cartography by Dyson Logos and art by Phil Stone.

This was a nice add on to EOTG. Gave some some extra flavour to the time in Krakovar.
