For centuries the city of Trombei has enjoyed wealth, safety, and some of the finest horses in Midgard. The Great Race of Trombei is a testament to the city’s affinity for equines, being a no-holds-barred obstacle course and contest between skilled riders, each seeking to claim the title of ‘Champion’.
But the race is more than an opportunity to gamble and indulge in festivity – it is a vestige of an ancient ritual that brings with it protection from Sarastra, eternal Queen of Night and Magic. For generations the race has preserved the city of Trombei, but malign forces gather with one goal; disrupt the race, and open Trombei to Sarastra’s dark influence. Can you stop them?
The Great Race of Trombei is a 28-page adventure for four to five characters of 5th level. It contains the complete adventure as well as fully-realized mechanics for running this race, or any other you GMs can think of! Rub elbows with racers, thwart the efforts of Sarastra, and perhaps live long enough to become the next great Champion!
