Super useful book for both new and experienced game masters. Well laid out, well designed, making the information inside easy to access.

    5 stars.

The chapter on Advanced Combat is wonderful! There’s a section dedicated to running combat with abstract mapping, something I’ve never used, but have seen explained online. It’s great to see that 3rd combat option taken up into an official rule set.

I also love the side bars throughout reminding GMs to honor their players intentions, to sometimes help the players stack the deck against the monsters – don’t forget this game should be fun for everyone!

    Dripping with usefulness

Love the Customization rules, and monster templates . I think I spent my entire weekend just creating all new creatures to throw at my table. The onyl critique I have is wishing there were example or list of traits used to create the player options like lineages and heritages. Other than that I love this books and look forward to more tales of the valiant items
