Over nearly a thousand years, the Kingdom of Gildstrum has grown from a small outpost to a powerful and successful monarchy, in part thanks to its pact with a powerful fey. This pact has protected Gildstrum from hostile forces beyond its borders and ensured stability and success for generations.
Until now, that is. The pact has been broken, and with it, both Gildstrum’s protection and its royal regalia, the symbols of peaceful succession, have vanished.
